A small camp located on the S136, southwest of Mopani Rest Camp.
Boulders Bush Camp has limited accommodation, accommodating a maximum of 12 guests, so if you want isolation and exclusivity, this is the place. The camp is at the base of a large granite boulder and has its own waterhole. The camp is also off the grid when it comes to electricity, all of the camps power is solar generated. Cooking is done on gas stoves.
The entire camp is raised on concrete pillars which makes it feel like you are in the wilds, but at the same time you can feel less vulnerable than if you were on the ground.
The name refers to the granite boulders that surround the camp. It was named by Dr U. de Pienaar in 1985.
The camp has a main unit which has two large bedrooms, both have an en-suite bathroom, one with a bath, the other with a shower. The other four two-bed units have a bathroom with a shower and bath.
Guided morning, sunset and night drives are available at the camp. Guided bush walks are also available, but both of these need to be booked in advance through Mopani Rest Camp because the guides who does the drives and walks are based at Mopani.
